Using sophisticated diagnostic tools and his years of experience, Alex puts every resale candidate through safety and performance testing. Smoke will fly and old caps will blow. Some may not even survive, but it is all in good fun, and part of our commitment to you that you get what you pay for at The Analog Store. It is better that a used piece of gear blow up on our bench, at our expense, than to risk losing your faith in us. We make sure it is ready for use before you ever even see it. When a component passes our torture tests and is verified to perform to original manufacturers' specifications or better, we label it as "Performance Certified" and declare it ready for sale to our customers. All used gear offered for sale at The Analog Store is Performance Certified. You don't have to ask or pay extra for it. Performance Certified means that you can rest assured that you are getting the best possible specimen of a particular design. It assures that the component will perform to the original designer's specification or better. With Alex's own quality tweeks you may expect it to operate at the designer's spec for a good long time. Often design flaws are identified and adjusted to give better than new performance. Performance Certified also means that you receive a 90 day limited warrantee.
