Used equipment sold at The Analog Store is thoroughly evaluated and tested to the extreme to ensure that it meets the high standards of Alex Lok. Using sophisticated diagnostic tools and his years of experience, Alex puts candidates for resale at The Analog Store through their paces.

Smoke will fly and old caps will blow. Many will not survive, but it is all in good fun, and part of our commitment to you that you get what you pay for at The Analog Store.

When a component passes our torture tests and is verified to perform to original manufacturers' specifications or better, we label it as "Performance Certified" and declare it ready for sale to our customers.

Performance Certified means that you can rest assured that you are getting the best possible specimen of a particular design. It assures that the component will perform to the original designer's specification. With Alex's own quality tweeks you may expect it to operate at the designer's spec for a good long time. Often deisgn flaws are identified and adjusted to give better than new performance.
